How to Gain Access to New Clients in SmartFeeds

This article explains how to gain access to new clients in SmartFeeds, a crucial task for users who need to manage multiple clients within the platform. How to Request Access to New Clients ?

Creating a Client Profile

To create a client profile in SmartFeeds:

  1. Open the Client Form by clicking here.
  2. In the Category dropdown, select New Client.
  3. Complete the required fields in the form, including details such as the client's name, contact information, and relevant account settings.
  4. Review the information carefully before submitting the form.

Once submitted, the client profile will be created and accessible in the Clients section of SmartFeeds within 24 hours.

Understanding Client Profile Configuration

After adding the client, you can customize their profile with the following elements:

  • Avatar: Click on the client’s avatar to upload the company logo.
  • Client Name: The client’s name will be displayed, and if the client has an Advanced License, a diamond emoji will appear next to their name.
  • Link an Account: This allows you to connect various client accounts. A step-by-step guide will assist you through the process directly within SmartFeeds.

Tip: You can filter clients using the Client Filter at the top of the page to quickly find the client you need to manage.

How to Update Access for Connectors

If you need to update access for a connector (e.g., renewing access), follow these steps:

  1. Find Someone with Access: Locate a user who has access to the connector.
  2. Click on the Red (or green) Banner: Select the banner related to the connector.
  3. Authenticate: You will need to authenticate before proceeding.
  4. Renew Access: After authentication, click on Renew Access to update the connector’s access.
